Background Professor Patricia Etuna Mbah is the current Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Delta Agbor. She is a hardworking, qualified, academic driven and dedicated Professor of Home Economics with vast experience in research, food studies, family studies, consumer education, hospitality management, fashion and textile studies, vocational education, food literacy, food and nutrition education and advocacy. She has an extensive knowledge in cultivating enthusiasm for Home Economics and related fields, stimulating student-centred opportunities with a proficient background in pedagogy, curriculum design and household extension services. She is an experienced educator in higher education. She had worked with students and staff from a diverse, inclusive and multicultural backgrounds with over 215 undergraduate and postgraduate students’ supervision and project completions. She is a competent and productive scholar with several scholarly publications, books and grant awards. She is the immediate past, President of Home Economics Professional Association of Nigeria (HEPAN) and the immediate past Vice President (Africa region) of International Federation for Home Economics (IFHE), internationally certified Home Economist (IPHE). She is hugely involved in outreach and educational community engagements locally and internationally. She has a broadened knowledge and capacity in the field of advocacy, international collaborations and cultural exchange. She is married with five (adult) children and several grandchildren.
